Pre-purchase Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and...

Huh Suikoden 1 and 2 have a remaster now.
...All I remember is the utter despair reading the walkthrough of 2 because one (or more? I don't remember) characters require rushing through the game to a certain point and I missed out

I also hold the very unpopular opinion that Suikoden 4 is the best. Because no timed recruitment instead of a castle you get a boat

also, tbh, cuz Mizuki is bae. Kunoichi Pirate is a massive W

I haven't played anything past suikoden 3.
But this is a good chance to play 1 and 2 in sequence (and maybe get that save state bonus for S2, which is pretty much worth it)

Mark (CG) : And oh, you're referring to Clive's scenario. It's pretty much a speedrun with him. I remember just reaching for the gameshark to do his scenario as well as enjoy the game.

(Clive in S2, okay? he's also a character in S1, but i don't remember if he did anything noteworthy in S1)

Yeah I barely remember anything from the Suikoden games. Except that 4 is cool because you've got the edgy kill everything (including you) Rune
