the freebie leo we got is surprisingly decent in strength. i checked his stats and it got me to max out the vocals on his idol road. my vocal team is still the weakest out of the three alas

They were. I remember going to the store and these two guys bought a bunch and we know they weren't keeping them. I remember having to trade dolls to get the one I wanted. I was lucky cause this lady had aurora I really wanted and I had the Tiana she really wanted.
The 16inch are def more popular. And that first designer line didn't sell quick at the beginning cause I don't think scalpers realized how much people would pay until Ariel came out
a few dolls from the premiere series were cute. i do feel that was dumb luck because i recall times before that waking at. like? two AM? before orders opened and in spite of waiting half an hour or so i wouldn't even get the damn doll

Actually having the link before the dolls went live allowed people to buy the dolls before they were up on the page. That's why the dolls would be sold out when they finally had them on the old Disney store dot com. From what I've seen they haven't resolved this issue.
