I wanted to make mochi today. What I did instead was wash dishes and make pasta.

So now I'm going to play Coral Island to save up the 40k I need to marry my husband who does not know he's my husband yet.

Got some energy, made Mochi anyway.

Changed the recipe a little. I added a dash of salt to put a little dimension into the flavours, then added some brown sugar and cinnamon. Yes, I americanized the mochi.

It has about fifteen minutes left to go and it already smells amazing.

New mochi was done at 50 minutes. I think I found the secret.

So, a bit more vanilla, two shakes of salt, less than a half cup of light brown sugar, a nice dusting of cinnamon, and then a light layer of crunched-up cinnamon toast crunch on top.

Wow. This one is so much more to my taste than the last one.

Ahh I want Coral Island

It's adorable, but it has some weird "gating". Like the whole marriage thing. ....And also actual gates. Like there's a weird gap in a two square gate.
