emergency plumber last night was not able to clear the blockage. water mit guy this morning made it clear the floor's gonna need to be replaced. AGAIN. WE DID THIS JUST A FEW YEARS AGO.

plumber player 2 was supposed to be here by noon. haven't heard anything yet.

i have had to talk to so many people the past few days

THREE different plumbers, a water mitigation guy, a cleanup crew guy, various plumbing company dispatchers, our mortgage company, the insurance company, the insurance company's adjuster, the adjuster's FIELD adjuster, an asbestos testing guy, two different hotels

I have done so much cleanup in the kitchen

I have fought with our crappy printer's crappy scanner

I have hauled the big litterbox out into the yard to be washed before bringing it to the hotel

And I have been doing it mostly solo because I can afford to take the time off work and Shira can't

I have been sorting and consolidating crap in the living room to try and get it out of the way for the demo and later the new floor going in

Before the end of today I still have to pack up the cats' stuff to take to the hotel, my own stuff to take to the hotel, feed my snakes, take care of my isopods, help Shira get her (desktop) computer out to the car, get all the rest of our stuff out to the car, get everything INTO the hotel, and THEN go shopping to get hotel food
