LGBTQIA+ terms were never meant to be fully understood.
Hating on bilesbians because you dont understand them is weird especially when its as simple as a bi(sexual or romantic) person who has the other preference of just women/non men
Labels are MEANT to not be understood by others, theyre meant to be made up.
usually bi lesbians dont even include men, yet people say "just say lesbian!" ok.. then just say bi instead of pan or omni..oh wait, microlabels exist because queer is strange.
my issue is when people see lesboys or bi lesbians they hate the label and people who use it because of cishet men, its the "trans women are all predators!" debate all over again
like i said, most people against it think that cishet men will invade and hurt us, a stupid reason to hate on the lgbt people themselves because cishet men dont care about all those labels
Yeahh, i honestly am uncomfortable when people say all cishet men suck and will damage us, Ive dated a cishet men and he was amazing, but also most of the trans people ive dated have been far from the best
It kind of made me hate myself for awhile because my identity is confusing and has many layers and all the screaming about how I should just call myself something else made me feel worse. Calling myself one or the other was always uncomfortable because it was wrong and it felt wrong but bilesbian explained it perfectly.
They wouldnt even let me explain how uncomfortable calling myself the wrong label was. It was sort of like misgendering myself, it was the same feeling.
I get told im bi when im a lesbain because I like non men, and well non masculine
When i told my old friend group they gave me a list of “lesbian like labels” so i coudl find what I actually was, which personally i feel comfortable being a lesbian
im a lesbian and im attracted to women and nb people in general (non men) like i will be attracted to anyone who isnt a man or similar.. i personally dont think that would make me a bi lesbian because lesbianism isnt being attracted to women ONLY its just. not being attracted to men.. is it a difference in what YOU think the definition of lesbian is? or
my friend uses the term bi lesbian because shes a lesbian mostly into nb people, and most of her partners have been multigender. usually its just a micro label preference
corn1611: OF COURSE! the easiest way to explain it is like using omni instead of bi, because bi is jjst multigender attraction with pan and omni being two different microlabels of bi
ohh! I had people keep telling me "bi lesbian is just lesbian, because it includes nb whereas sapphic doesnt!" and i was not too sure if the part about sapphic was true
Yeahh honestly people seem to want to heavily choose what sapphic is and wlw and judge it, i dont see it with gay but thats probably because any type of non women l non women is fetishised nowadayd
i jusg think in general we should stop policing people's identities, because everybody against bi lesbians, lesboys, etc all use the same points that people did when saying why gay, bi, and trans are wrong

I dont understand a lot of good faith labels but honestly labels arent always meant to be understood
Ive dated a cishet men and he was amazing, but also most of the trans people ive dated have been far from the best

They were a demi-boy lesbian
Bilesbian can also refer to non men who like non men as a lot of them are told theyre not actually lesbian but bi so bam bilesbian
Theres more types too
Like my gf is genderfluid and so am i but neither of us are less of lesbians
Like “dykegender” “dykesexual”
Its honestly what they wish to identify with
