but the whole 'my sisters thought i was a boy for a while and that made everything worse' is a little hard to read in another way

From how I understand it looking in, that was the case in the Japanese version but the original English release just didn't mention gender

because it was 2008

but now they have confirmed it in both!

So yes! She is trans!
