[RP] gonna try to get back into rp

definitely going for Anaplasia when it starts up, and i'm much more tentatively eyeing Route 666

really in the mood for horror games right now and they're both right up my alley

would go with the same character for both since i don't think i could handle two different characters, but i want to play him at different points in his timeline

a teen version for route 666, and most likely the adult version of him for Anaplasia

because i like both the teen and adult versions of this character and i could get the best of both worlds this way.

the only issue is, I'm not sure if i can get away with doing a teen version in R666, since, there's a canon kid version of him, and an adult version of him, but we don't actually see him as a teen. We're just given information to infer about that point in his life

not sure if that would count as having too much head canon, but i figure if it doesn't work out the worst they can do is tell me "no", and i'll stick with playing the adult version of him in Anaplasia

the character I want to go with is Kenny from South Park, which probably sounds like a weird pick for anyone who only knows him from the "oh my god they killed Kenny!" bit.

But he was canonically revealed to be some kind of Eldrich horror after his parents let a cult do some kind of ritual on him before he was born, in exchange for free booze.

[To their credit, what very little they can be given, they didn't believe in that crap and didn't think it would do anything to him.]

So he's had to live with this horrifying cures that causes him to constantly die and resurrect, and since no one else can remember his deaths, he's being dealing with it alone.

He also had to start being the designated "adult" in his family at age 10, because his parents are extremely unreliable (to say the least), his older brother has checked out (as far as we've been shown), and someone in the family has to take care of his little sister and make sure his parents actually pay the bills.

we don't get to see a lot of the more serious side of the character, since the show is a comedy first and foremost, but they gave him a shocking amount of depth over the years

Then again...I was also considering Raz from Psychonauts. So, we'll see which one I actually stick with
