In the face of threats and infiltration from China, we ask that you crush the oppressive power of the empires against its neighbours and its own people.
We also ask for Your divine protection over the Taiwanese people and those who are persecuted for their faith in China and around the world.
Strengthen them against fear, shield them from threats, bring them hope in their hearts, defend their rights to self-determination, and preserve their freedom to worship You freely.
Two representatives from the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan performed on stage at the dinner. They played the hymn "Because He Lives" on piano and trumpet, and led the audience in praying for Taiwan. The scene was quite touching.

美國總統川普今年還出席了在華盛頓希爾頓酒店、以民間宗教團體為主的祈禱早餐會。其中來自台灣基督教長老會的兩名代表，特別在晚宴上台表演，以鋼琴和小號吹奏贊美詩《Because He Lives》( 因衪活著)，並帶領全場為台灣禱告，場面相當感人。
負責鋼琴演奏的Anita告訴央廣，他們就是希望上帝可以保守台灣，保護台灣， 讓台灣有勇氣不受到威脅，也讓全世界各地的人，都能夠為台灣來帶來勇氣，讓台灣無所懼怕，讓信仰希望平安跟愛長存不息。
細數過去曾出席全美祈禱早餐會的台灣政治人物其實並不少，包括了馬英九政府時期擔任駐美代表的金溥聰、國民黨中央委員的連勝文都曾獲邀參加；陳水扁政府時期的總統府資政吳澧培、行政院前院長謝長廷也曾出席；蔡英文執政之後，前立法院長游錫堃，以及2020年當時、當選副總統，還未就職的總統賴清德也都曾是座上賓。
Heavenly Father,

In the face of threats and infiltration from China, we ask that you crush the oppressive power of the empires against its neighbours and its own people.
Strengthen them against fear, shield them from threats, bring them hope in their hearts, defend their rights to self-determination, and preserve their freedom to worship You freely.
And may You stir up their hearts to pray for Taiwan so that Taiwan can be a testimony of hope and freedom to the world and proclaim Your name freely.

我們將台灣交託在祢的手中，這片我們所愛的自由、民主、真理，並尊重每一個生命尊嚴與價值的土地。
在中國的威脅與滲透之下，我們懇求祢粉碎帝國主義對鄰國與本國人民的壓迫。
求祢以祢的大能保護台灣的人民，也保守在中國及世界各地因信仰而受迫害的人們。
主啊，求祢興起世界各地追求公義的弟兄姊妹，與台灣同行，並感動他們為台灣代禱，使台灣成為希望與自由的見證，能夠無懼地宣揚祢的聖名。
願祢大能的手遮蓋這座島嶼，使希望、信仰、平安與愛長存不息。
