I once packed for a year overseas the night before I flew and that's really set the tone throughout the rest of my life until this move

pleased to report I have not died in a boxvalanche!!

I got to the point where most of my stuff got bunged into rubbish bags, by my family who helped me move, and just moved to my new place that way, so I have no idea where a lot of my stuff actually is. also a good chunk of my furniture hasn't arrived yet (I went from renting a fully furnished studio to buying an unfurnished 1br + 'office'*),

and some of what has arrived, I still need to build, like my bed (the mattress is currently expanding from its former life in a box). so I am on the floor of my new place, surrounded by boxes and rubbish bags... but happy

*where I am a room legally needs to have a window to be called a bedroom. there is a second room that is bedroom sized but has no window so legally this is a one bedroom apartment lol. it's going to be my guest/sewing room!
