OK, after several days of it, I gotta ask; is Facebook scrolling screwed up for anyone else, or is it just me? The weirdest part is it's only on feeds, not in groups.

Well it's not you but a lot on social media owned by meta (Twitter, facebook, meta, Instagram, tiktok etc). The solution is blocked any accounts related to political if you get my drift and that should restore your feed's algorithm to normal

OK, how do I do that? Like I don't follow any specifically political accounts.

The culprits would be Elon musk, Trump, Vance, the Meta company, Instagram etc. Their content messed up the algorithm whether you follow them or not. Just block them and see if your feed goes back to normal

I'll have to actually download the facebook app to do that, but if nothing else works will try.

I think it's just been buggy lately. I had a lot of trouble with facebook jumping around/etc when I last tried to use it on my phone browser. I had all third party stuff turned off too, so I don't think that's the issue. I now only use it on my home computer (which has the added perk of ad blocking the suggested posts >.>)
