rant but anyways
so my bf went on a church event thing for the weekend and we barely talked before that, I didn't think anything of it cus he was kinda busy. he got home and he called me but had to leave fairly quick cus his mom wanted to hang out. then when he called me back he spent the entire time on tiktok instead of talking to me. continuing in comments

then his phone died and he called me back pretty late at night only for his friend to call him 10 minutes into the call and then he didn't talk to me until the next day. I sent him a long ass message asking if we could hang out more since I miss him and genuinely need more attention than this because in a relationship I wanna feel wanted

he then called me from about 3:30 to 10 pm yesterday, but he was sick, not talking a lot, and his phone died after he fell asleep around 9 ish. ofc I have been kinda upset about this bc like I want to hang out with my boyfriend, but a lot of this doesn't seem like his fault so I didn't want to crash out at him plus I can't blame him for being busy.

I also don't wanna come off as a clingy annoying bitch since we've only been together for a month, tho we spend most of our time on the phone up until now. anyways so I text him this morning saying good morning and he didn't respond, I thought it's fine he's probably sleeping.

that is until noon when I saw he was online on Instagram AND changed the music on his note.

so now he's just ignoring me? maybe he didn't check his messages? idk if I'm overreacting but I'm genuinely pissed cus I told him I needed more attention and more of an effort and this doesn't seem like effort.

ok im done ranting feel free to leave advice cus I don't know what to do anymore

that is absolutely not effort and you need to be up in his face about it. say if he's not going to pay attention to you, then there's not going to be a relationship because that is so shitty

that's what I was thinking, I asked him to call me so we can talk but he hasn't responded yet.

wait until tonight and if he still hasn't texted you back, just tell him upfront what the deal is and that the relationship is at stake

update ‼️ I'm otp with him rn, he just got really really sick and didn't wanna call me back late at night when he changed his note bc he didn't wanna wake me up. he's been sleeping all day and just woke up and called me, explained that he has the flu and didn't wanna bother me last night, and tod me he was so sorry for not answering

I told him I'd like a little more effort, but he's sick so it's okay and we made up everything is good now
