my cat is likely going to pass of cancer within the next few months, but... all of these urns i'm finding online are so depressing. i want something powerful, something that celebrates him more

i realize this sounds like a scammy 'draw my pet pls' but i promise i'm willing to pay well for this

I don't know anyone, sadly, but I just want to say that this doesn't sound silly OR scammy and I will simply devour anyone who suggests otherwise.

(also commissioning someone to draw your pet doesn't sound scammy to me either??? but this is me and I am often out of touch.)

it's a common thing for some rando on a burner account to ask for a commission from you just to siphon your paypal or bank account

he didn't get any money from me, but he did get so pissed off i didn't fall for it that he completely bricked my work e-mail so i had to get a new one

adding to this, i could even do some concept art of what i'm after too

poking around on etsy and these are some good examples of what i'm after, maybe with his name engraved on it too

as far as commission scams go too its also common for "artists" (likely AI bots) to come into your dms and go "I can offer YOU a commission so I can draw YOU something"

Okay this might seem weird but like...one of my aunts got herself an urn before dying and it's literally a cookie jar? there are some very pretty cookie jars that you can't find that aren't labeled as urns that might work especially if you want to go for personality

they make picture frame boxes that you can use as the ashes are in a bag

I have a second box for a few of her things like her collar, and a onesie she wore post surgery (she had cancer too, with two surgeries)

i saw some picture frame ones and... i'll be honest, that would be a little too hard to look at from day to day, with his photo over the ashes

obviously i am keeping photos of him but i don't want anything really... depressing.

yeah, I haven't put her picture in yet and it'll be three years later this month
