Every time when I see a lost earpod, sitting quietly, in some corner, I always wonder if its owner would ever retrace his steps to at least look for it. In a city like Havenport such a situation makes one feel vulnerable, as it causes only one side of the head to receive the Filter, resulting in mild headaches and dizziness.
Of course one would likely take out the other pod to avoid such an unbalanced effect but then without the Filter and real-time information one might be exposed to all kinds of potential hazards. Some people use braces or lines attached to the earpods to prevent losing them, but the majority of the population somehow frown upon this.
I pick up the earpod someone lost on the sidewalk, it's in good condition. I look around but can't see anyone nearby searching. I put it back on the sidewalk and continue my way to my company.

I turned to look at my colleagues. At work, our pods are set to work mode to receive info and instructions. None of the colleagues seemed to be disturbed. I tapped one of my pods to check the channel. "WORK" a dull female voice said among the "Number 15, Pleasant Avenue...."
