Before the pics, to explain: My La Muerte deck is a personal spread. The general idea of me for that month. My Alleyman deck is the outside forces and general things around me. A reading for the room/environment 4 runes, to be overall advice for the season/3 months 3 medicine cards, to get a full view of the nature of the year
overall? is going to be rough and with a lot of road blocks and difficulties, but there's some healing and overall success, with a side of every to do things for others (as if that's different from usual??)
Right. This nonsense... I guess I'll start with the easy ones, which is the medicine cards. I said it's a full view of the nature, but also to mean the instincts that'll be affecting everything (myself and actions around me) the most
So, for how I run it, the Blank card makes sense. This is a bit of 'chaos' and 'happenstance more than choice'. The result of some human making a choice, but not necessarily one directly in your life
The reversed Mouse is wanting to look and dream big, instead of handling the things right at your fingertips. So, people itching to do grand things while there's so much they could be doing and improving their lives right now, even if 'small'
Then the opossum, which is literally 'play dead' or, more involved, 'you have the ability to fight, but it's better to lay in wait and strategize', which I also interpret as being able to do things, but it's smarter and will expend less energy to see how things fall without changing much
January has the Judgement, Reversed for me, which means that fear of change and consequence, or being judged, will make decisions and actions more difficult for me. Which already tracks, because I have to go more heavily into finding doctors, including a therapist
The Lone and Level Sands is a card about even the most stubborn ideals getting worn down, to where there's nothing left to gain. So people (and myself) are going to be influenced by complications trying to challenge their most stubborn ideals and choices.
February has the 3 of Swords, reversed which matches up with opossum on avoiding disasters and huge blowback by being careful and analyzing things first. Which is good, because...
With the Hierophant, reversed, everyone's gonna get led around and fed info that they should probably question, or look to second sources for. Makes sense for this year's February
March has 10 of Pentacles which is pretty good! It's taking what you've got and pushing past fears of failure and loss. Could use that, because the Queen of Ravens is influencing everyone, which is about a vindictive and powerful force trying to ruin 'you', or us in general. Someone to avoid interacting with directly and watch from a distance
It's... Kind of a busy season. Which is probably why the First quarter's advice is Isa, emphasizing that I need to keep steady and don't push plans ahead, but instead let things happen as they are. Go with the flow.
April is interesting, with 10 of Pentacles, reversed, because it means being hit with a lot of fear about complications that could cost you to lose something, but it's something that can't or isn't going to be lost. It's insecurity. Probably because the Wound Man is influencing everything, causing constant pains and injuries (emotional and physical)
Which isn't all bad! It's the kind of pain that you have to go to for a revelation and major step for self-healing. It's not needless or just there to hurt.
May flowers into 6 of Cups, reversed, which is, in the most succinct description, 'overindulging in memories' to where it overflows and affects y our emotions.Probably because Deconsecration is affecting everyone, which is a major difficulty (which I'd rather not over-focus or theorize on)
June has 5 of Wands, reversed, which means that there'll be difficulties coming up that reveal more core problems and, oddly, that someone's competing in some way? Maybe because 4 of Wands is bringing up opportunities for people to put time and effort into making things (crafting especially) for other people
Which, it's a lot of smacks to push you forward, making sense that 2nd Quarter's Advice is Jera, which is to steadily work on goals and prepare for the future and continuing to lay down groundwork. Don't just keep still and let things happen, but prepare for what you want
July has The Hanged Man, reversed, which is self-paralysis when action needs to be taken. Dangling without being sure of where to grab purchase. Luckily, Knight of Cups means that there's going to be support coming from loved ones, not just for me, but in general for everyone.
August has 6 of Wands, reversed which means that there are delays occurring. Things outside one's control, and more just the universe saying 'yes, but not now.' Which is funny with the environment getting The Hanged Man, reversed which, in this card, is frustration in what is happening and a building impatience from not getting anywhere.
Being unable to do things, but going 'fuck this, fuck that, and also fuck that other thing that's happening' with the way the cat/world will always have a point poking into it should it try to 'relax' and lower down
September has the Queen of Wands, marking a turnaround in the year, because it's a burst of energy and through that, obtaining success, security, protection and (if somehow relevant), reaching 'professional' goals.
All in spite of The Fool, reversed, which means that someone is going to keep making the same choices that blow up in their face, despite it always happening that way. It's being self-destructive and foolish.
Third Quarter's advice is Raido, which is basically to just bask and enjoy the light. Just remember to communicate and focus on self-healing, and everything else will work itself out as long as it's not being forced
October kind of hints that this may have been forgotten. With 8 of Wands, reversed, making fast decisions could end up with regrets. It even looks like someone screaming because they're falling so fast.
Luckily, The Comforter is the card for what's happening around, which is exactly as it sounds and looks. Warmth and comfort will be around myself and others. It'll be there.
November is the 2 of Swords, which doesn't actually have a reversed meaning. Whether it's upright or not, the scissors are still about 2 forces working against one another, never really going anywhere. But it'll help develop strengths and figuring things out.
Ace of Disks is going to influence things, which is about the things you have (money, support or help) actively being taken away. Something just out of anyone's control.
December to close out the year is The Emperor, which is probably one of the best endings for the year, because it's literally success and conquering one's goals. Reaching some kind of stability
and I like it with The King of Flint, who is depicted by the Lord of Winter and Justice, which means that there's going to be true justice. Good work and intentions gets you good things, and it'll nip some nasties in the bud. It's cold, but fair, and nondiscriminatory.
My Alleyman deck is the outside forces and general things around me. A reading for the room/environment
4 runes, to be overall advice for the season/3 months
3 medicine cards, to get a full view of the nature of the year
Probably because the Wound Man is influencing everything, causing constant pains and injuries (emotional and physical)
Luckily, Knight of Cups means that there's going to be support coming from loved ones, not just for me, but in general for everyone.
