事到如今才看了這首歌的正式MV，才發現說，啊原來也是在描述Vander最後的狀態

我的解讀是，the line比起生死的界線，在奧術動畫裡更貼近人與非人的那條線。Viktor和Vander兩者都是。他們都經歷過死亡再復活，然而復活之後卻再也不是原來的那個自己。

My body's on the line now 我的身體已經到了極限
I can't fight this time now 這次我再也無法抵抗
I can feel the light shine on my face 我感受到那束光照耀在我臉上
Did I disappoint you? 我讓你失望了嗎
Will they still let me over
If I cross the line? 如果我跨過那條界線，他們還會接納我嗎

從Vander角度出發的話，他對話的對象肯定是Vi和Jinx，他珍愛了一輩子的女兒們。從Vander到Warwick，到後來Warwick徹底失去神智之後死去，他希望自己在她們的記憶裡仍是她們的父親，而不是這樣一個怪物。

比起Vander被迫，被強行改造成Warwick，Viktor轉變，甚至說"進化"成Herald，是他自願走上的一條路。這首歌他對話的對象，除了Jayce之外，也很有可能是Sky。畢竟動畫裡Sky象徵的就是Viktor人性的部分。
我原本還在想那句"will they let me over"裡的they是指誰，但如果從Viktor是在和Sky對話來解讀就可以很明確區隔出其他人是誰。

Did I dissapoint you這句的殺傷力之大，其中隱含的悲傷之深，每次聽都差點要哭出來。

Vander問女兒們他是否讓她們失望，因為他沒有辦法扮演好她們父親的角色，因為他不再是她們記憶裡的那個模樣，因為他無法繼續陪著她們面對這個世界。

Viktor問Sky他是否讓她失望，因為他對不起她的仰慕(愛慕)，因為他選擇了追求更高的進化而捨棄了她。S2E8後面Viktor說I'll miss our talks，而Sky的回答是No, you won't，表明了Viktor將會多麼徹底地失去人性。

Viktor問Jayce他是否讓他失望，因為他辜負了兩人當初研究的初心，因為他在追求進化的路上走得太偏太遠。

唉真的好誇張，把歌曲當成編劇的一部份寫好再找人來唱到底，粉絲的眼淚都不用錢
