Day Two: Black Sand Beach, Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon, glacier field, hiked up Vatnajökull glacier and went in an ice cave, ate an Icelandic hot dog and saw some Northern Lights!
Day Four: driving the 270 miles from where we spent the night near Forest Lagoon all the way back down the country to the airport. Only photo from this portion is when we were desperately searching for a bathroom and literally everywhere we went they were “closed for the season” (it was a running theme. One place closed literally the day we got there) and
we wound up outside a shut down hostel, well off the 1, and I convinced my friend that we should absolutely stop and pet the horses that were right by the road.
