trying to plan christmas shopping with my sib around our dad being in town and wanting to hang out . my little sibling is NOT UNDERSTANDING THE ISSUE AT HAND .

THE ISSUE BEING . IF WE LIE AND SAY THAT WE'RE GOING TO A MOVIE AT 9 PM SO THAT'S WHY OUR DAD SHOULD DROP US OFF AT THE SAME HOUSE, OUR DAD MIGHT DECIDE HE WANTS TO COME ALONG TOO . AND THEN WE HAVE TO SPEEDRUN BUYING TICKETS AND HOPE WE GET THREE SEATS TOGETHER. THE DAY OF . HOURS BEFORE.

AND NOW MY SIBLING IS LIKE. OH WE COULD GO SEE A DIFFERENT MOVIE AT 6!!! THIS IS ABOUT CHRISTMAS SHOPPING . WE ARE SUPPOSED TO START SHOPPING . I WON'T SEE YOU FOR WEEKS.

i wish i could see this situation with the whimsy they do but i am like. we need to start shopping earlier this year and my rent went up so i have less money we need to be SOMEWHAT prepared instead of scrambling around like last year and every birthday

like i feel like i'm insane here what is it with younger siblings and not stressing out about the logistics of shit at all
