oh and to clarify I don't know my family history beyond that. I was adopted as a baby since my birthmother wasn't confident she could care for me and my parents couldn't have children, so it worked out.

mom is ambiguously from Irish descent and dad is Sicilian. in fact my grandma immigrated from Sicily

he grew up in New York and I very faintly picked up the accent on certain words. mostly ones like coffee or chocolate.

My mom's side even had her ancestors in the 1700s respell their name from Slosson to Slawson for... some reason. Slawson is more Welsh, so I don't get it, but it's apparently all written down in a book by my distant cousin explaining the boat ride to America??
