i hate when people try to minimize ur feelings bc i told my friend that i've been crying nonstop and haven't done hw or readings bc of how unmotivated i feel bc of the election and she told me everything will is fine. like girl i'm mexican, gay, and a woman plus my dad's been deported before and all i've ever dreamed of is marrying my girl + having kids

I felt the same way after the 2020 election. It helps to keep busy and moving forward to not dwell in the sadness.
