Hullo again plurk, it's been a while. I have had three rather big things happen that I feel like I should share: 1 not that great, 2 fucking amazing ones.

1) For the not-so-great: After 5 wonderful years with him, my housemates and I said goodbye to our wonderful doofy barrel of a bulldog, Max.

He was entirely deaf, wasn't eating, having serious terrible walking, and was having really severe seizures. It fucking sucks, and especially with the rotten luck of this happening on my birthday weekend? It was extra shitty.

2) For the first of the fucking amazing ones: My SO and I went to special clay-firing event thing. It was really cool. Also, really warm and smokey.

Those clay pieces are coming out of that kiln glowing red hot. It was a fun day that I spent with my SO and her getting her various clay pieces Raku fired.

Well! It turns out that day Sara and I inspired her teacher to do ART!

kaylin : It really is! It also makes you smell like we've been hanging out around fire all day... which I guess we did.

Anywheedles, it tickles me so much that Sara and I. inspired ART.

3) I was subjected to the cat distribution system! Meet Marigold, formerly Ms Stache!

She was a rescue from a really bad neglect and abandonment situation, and was brought to the attention of one of my housemates

As you can see from the pictures, Marigold got very attached to me.

If you ever want me mad, mention that night we went to get her.

I am so grateful she's with us. Our grumpy miss.
