tldr: my grandmother had a beautiful house with a wraparound porch and lived there until she died, and when she did, everyone was allowed to kind of, just take whatever of her Billion Knickknacks we wanted

and I took several of her wind chimes because I always loved them, they were a huge part of my Sense Memories of Nona's House

I did hang them in my old place, because there were some convenient sort of high doorway arches

and now I don't have a convenient place to hang them, but I don't want to just box them up and I don't want to throw them away, even though they're pretty old and idk if I could even give them away

however, my parents now have a place with a nice porch (my dad's nostalgia played a big role I think) and I should give them the wind chimes to hang there
