been looking at the extensible shell, es(1), at https://github.com/wryun/es-shell. it's sorta based on p9's rc. so far, it seems pretty cool. it's gonna take a while for me to port all my bash-isms to it, though. i'm not sure if it has job-control yet, though, as it doesn't seem to catch SIGSTOP... shellterminalesbashextensible-shell
