PLEASE clap for me: I finally bit the bullet and told the head of the therapy dog nonprofit I train for that my disabled ass has been doing TOO MUCH, and e cut down my responsibilities by like 50%

It's SO fucking hard for me to admit I'm struggling, but it had reached a point where I was doing NOTHING that wasn't dog related, couldn't manage the energy/strength/pain to keep up with MY dog, who is at this point only a challenge in that we need to be training in public and that requires leaving the house. As an actual dog he's GREAT.

But I couldn't even manage one-day-a-week game night with some friends, like.... I was too Wrecked.

So I said ENOUGH.

And I'm both proud of me and also. Extremely excited. For having my life back.
