moornin plurk! Since I've been too busy to have a proper art day this week, I'm gonna do some low effort spooky season crafting and mess with shrinky dinks

I've had the supplies forever and just never got around to it, but now I've got poscas and even doming material so I think it will be fun to try

I've got limited colors but hey, tell me spooky cute things to draw and maybe I can whip up something

IT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES, a truly and purely USA cryptid born out of US logging culture.

I have a stuffed one, her name is Roxy.

AW delightful! Yeah it's one of those ones that I looked at the setting and attributes of and can just EASILY see how it came to be, (like something coming down that terrain could absolutely look like something monstrous!) but I kind of love that about it.

I guess half the fun of cryptids isn't just believing in them but the circumstances that lead to 'sighting' them begin with.

these paint pens are getting streaky which is leading to blotchy results but everyone says they work the best so I'm chalking it up to lack of practice and the fact that i JUST opened them so the ink might need to settle

either way, even blobby, not a bad first test I'll have to keep practicing
