The mosquito helicopters fly so low that I always think that they'll hit power lines. I mean they just get a few feet above them. It's like they're about to land on the lawn and they'll do at least two more passes tonight.
Yes. They have to, we are a swamp with several kinds of mosquitos. They list the nights and sections being sprayed constantly. We even have an elected board that does nothing but mosquito stuff.
(Although, fascinatingly, Florida was once apparently its own terrane that used to be adjacent to what became the British Isles, so there's some actual bedrock involved somewhere.)
