2. the internet died in the middle of the morning, and fortunately i am a modern woman and know how to do basic modem repair, and know where all the spare cables are kept
3. the police called asking if we're still in charge of our old building, which we ARE, i'm 99% sure of, BUT i didn't want to say yes right away in case, you know, we might not be anymore?
which means in an hour i'm probably going to get a message to walk over there and sign a lot of paperwork about which homeless folks are squatting and pooping in there now
because SURPRISE corporate refused to let us sell that junky old death trap because TRADITION or some such red state bullshit and now it's flooded, three times, full of literal AND figurative human shit, and we keep getting fined for it, and can't sell it because, again, IT IS NOW DESTROYED BY HUMAN AND NATURE SHITTING IN IT
the lesson here is "stay in school kids, because as much trouble as filling out the paperwork to transfer from community college to university is, it's still less trouble than pratfalling into a completely different field of work and staying there for 20 years"
i'm not saying i'm currently googling "online psychology degree" but i'm not NOT saying that
