My sister: I was telling people my husband got me tickets to see Weezer for my birthday. The 20-somethings at work didn't know who they were and that's when it hit me.... I'm old now.

Amusingly, husband bought her tickets while they're in Texas where they live. Next week she's going to visit a friend of her's in Portland where they're playing again.

...friend also bought her tickets to see them when she visits.

So she's going to see them twice and she is very excited by this.

At first one of them was like: oh no! We can resell the tickets and get you something else.

And sis was like YOU WILL NOT TAKE THIS CHANCE TO SEE WEEZER TWICE FROM ME

So double Weezer birthday.

I made an unfunny joke about being an old lazy who keeps Weezing.

While I know I'm 38 it seems weird to me that my sister is 36. It really seems like she should still be in her 20s. My baby sis.

I feel so lucky that me and my sister get along so well. I don't know how we grew up with almost no fighting, but we did. Some spats of course, but we've basically always been each other's best friend
