解析

「Toksik」是整首歌的歌名，類似於「Toxic」，如果結合所有歌詞以及MV意象又不只於此，更像是「Tiktok」和「sick」共組的詞彙，這是什麼有夠嘴的諷世神曲我好喜歡！！

「meltdown」有「（情緒）崩潰／（金融）失敗／（核燃料的）熔毀」之意，能夠連結「radioactive」（放射性／輻射性）之意，也能響應歌曲的諷世意味。

順帶一提，Imagine Dragons也有一首同樣是末日意象的歌叫〈Radioactive〉。

《The hills have eyes》（1977），中文譯名為《隔山有眼》，是一部講述公路旅行的家庭遭受食人魔家族襲擊的美國恐怖電影。

後世比較多人評價它的製作粗糙劣質，以及誇張化獸行之兇殘的表現。在電影的結尾，有一個未知的存在正在用望遠鏡凝視擁抱的倖存者，彷彿暗指沉浸於低俗娛樂中、隔岸觀火的觀眾。

這個視角投射不僅呼應整部歌曲的主題，電影中的「cannibalistic」（食人魔），更是在連結歌詞裡、那些並非殭屍的「toxified」（中毒者），預示著他們都將對正常人類下毒手。

《Idiocracy》（2006）是美國科幻喜劇電影，中文譯名為《蠢蛋進化論》，講述一個軍人參與冰凍睡眠實驗，並在五百年後甦醒於提倡反智主義的、反烏托邦世界的諷刺故事。

「on parade」是「接受校閱／檢查」的意思，而「Marching」則擁有「行軍／示威遊行／持續發展」的意思，這讓前面的「parade」單字使用變得很有趣，兩個詞彙都將「遊行」之意隱於人前，卻又非常強烈。

「tools」除了「工具」之外，還有他人的「爪牙、傀儡」之意。
