August Dream Notes are up!

We're almost to our third year anniversary and one more month until the final event! Which means this month's event is ramping things up as we gear up for the finale.

Some guy named Berot Sau has been the one causing all these problems since Orkili: the reactor malfunctioning, Ice Queen, and even Joshua and who knows who else he's been experimenting on and now there are nightmare crystals and noctaere traveling through the tethers and into other worlds.

Anyway, that means it's now time to travel past Songerein's dream realm and into dream realms of other worlds.

That's right, we're basically having a world hop event where characters will be able to use the tethers and dreamwalk to other worlds! That includes canon and non canon worlds, and characters will be able to travel to different worlds outside their own.

Players not officially in game will be able to participate in this world hop as well, as non-game characters will be forced into dreamwalking these world dreamscapes and join the dreamwalkers in destroying these nightmare crystals and fixing the tethers before things really get out of hand.

And yes, non-game characters can also world hop to other world dreamscapes!

Bear in mind these world hops are just to a "mirror" version of the actual world, however...

Characters will be able to actually briefly wake up into their original world. They will retain all their memories and eventually be pulled back into the dream, but in that time they can move around as if they had woken up from a long nap.

This is an opportunity for players to "canon update" if they wanted to, or have their character experience something in their real world that they haven't yet.

In addition, other characters can join them however they will not have a corporeal form and instead will be kind of like a ghost.

They will be real enough for the native character, but other people from that world won't be able to see the guest character, nor can the guest character really interact outside of touching things and being able to speak with the native character.

Upon returning and at the end of this event, the characters will all bring back with them some kind of memento of their home world. This is also a form of tether linking them to both Songerein and their home world. How this will be used…will be revealed next month.

Will they want to stay in Songerein? Or will they want to go back to their home world? Or maybe…

They will be able to do both?
