no ac all night.......

thankfully the heatwave broke and it's only 83 this morning but god

the ac works it just uh. smells very strongly of acetone the whole time it's on.

which google tells me could be a refrigerant leak, given that i don't have any acetone in the whole damn apartment

possibly they poked their heads in and went well it doesn't smell like that now since the ac had probably turned off. but

that does not mean the job is fuckin done!!!!

belated but apparently the landlord sent a note when marking it as complete as "this is fumes from the paint job upstairs we are SO sorry" but.... didn't actually send the note. so she was just as confused.

mildly annoying but she showed me the steps it takes to send the note and actually sending the note to me instead of saving it to her records requires ticking a tiny box in the form. so not great but not 100% on her, i think,
