My kitchen was finished today! They just need to rehang the ceiling lights but I asked them to wait because I never liked that lighting. It was so inefficient and the light never hit where I needed it to go. I bought a new lamp/fan combo today and I’m a bit excited about seeing it in action.
I played with it a bit at the store and it was pretty cool. It’s a ring LED lamp (like those selfie rings) with the fan in the middle and the light is RBG colored and different shades of white, all dimmable. I can’t wait to see it in action here. I hope that it fits. I think this will make a huge difference in my kitchen temperatures.
I feel really fancy. LOL They still have work to do in Yak’s music room but they’ll finish that next week. They had to move the furniture around and I’m ok with that because I wanted to move the desk to the other side of the room anyway. I think it’ll make it roomier in there when I put out the air mattress.
So many feels over that room rn though but that’s another plurk for another day once I’m able to process it all. Right now it kinda feels like he’s getting erased and I don’t really like that feeling.
the old lights look good for dropping light on a work area but not for lighting up a room. Spotlight on your cutting board but the rest of the kitchen in the shade.
