I can now understand the gist around old dogs learning new tricks. It's not that we can't learn new tricks but it's really hard to dedicate time to learning it.

My go-to game lately has always been Fortnite cuz it's quick and easy to pick up and play at any moment. I kinda struggle on larger games cuz I'll play, only get so far, then in the time it takes for me to play it again, i've forgotten all the nuances in control.

I've struggled getting my mix/mastering game down cuz its hard to stick to mastering one genre cuz I tend to hop between different ones.

Even down to picking a new show to watch and follow cuz the last thing I want is to waste my time on it. (Even one episode of that goddamn Joko Anwar show felt like precious time lost).
