All right fellas.. how late is too late to join Art Fight? Is it still a good idea to attend after the first week?

there is zero lateness! it goes on all month and its street legal to do up until the last day

because I watch longingly EVERY year and I don't even have a fandom to write for right now. I crave the stimulation of art trades

I personally always wait a few days or a week anyway cuz the site crawls to slow from everyone overwhelming it the first few days lol

does it make it harder for people to find you though? I figure most people attack their friends etc but I'll kind of be going into this community blind if I did

my issue is I just don't make OCs, a dumb part of my brain told me I'm "not allowed" at a young age and I've been desperately trying to unlock that box for years. I think I could scrape up something l, I just have to break past the psychic lock

me and my buddy like to target baby artists so i put up my dumb stick figure npcs for kids to attack back at me lolol

other people just put up their pets

okay ^^ yeah, I can make gijinkas or little creatures and such. and yeah after all the Ryslig monsters I've drawn, I figure after a few tweaks doesn't take much to make some of those their own thing. I'll start with basic ideas of things and shape languages I like and keep pushing until it's as original as I can get

Look some of my most beloved OCs are essentially canon characters with the serial numbers filed off or me repurposing my ryslig monster designs

go for it! yeah lots of my OCs are expies from some era of fandom or another and AUs are absolutely allowed. I'd love to see you join when you want!
