Our council is doing these adorable recruiting events. I get to go as part of my job. yay popsicles.

They sound great. GSEP did "Meet me at Rita's" where the SUs held a free treat night at Rita's Water Ice (or a local ice cream place). The Council would reimburse the SUs $100 for sponsoring the event.

It turned out that troops from outside the SU would go to these events to get free treats & patches. We didn't get any new girls and ended up spending $50 extra for the event.

(We felt a little bitter and unsupported)
