In my entire career I've seen enough bosses live long enough to become the villain.

Held down by the stress of their mounting goals in a fragile industry. They give in, not push back. They neglect their health. They become condescending far beyond it being for levity.

Damn that’s dark, and sadly so relatable. I went there, particularly the part about just giving in and not pushing back. Thankfully I had people who cared enough about me to call me out on it so I was able to shake it off. I left to start something new and my own. Now I have a bit more control of the things that could turn me into a person I don’t like.

Marco : The thing I started is industry adjacent so it has most if not all the same pressures. That’s why my partners and I do our best to be as vigilant as possible. Mindfulness is key, no doubt.
