idk how Bader isn't able to do a "messed up, aloof, inhuman Batman" but he's fine for Two-Face.

well, it is led by timm, and that's always been his consistent read on batman; it's through the softening of that take on him that came about through BTAS' collaborative nature (and in particular, i like to think, conroy's input as his voice) that allows for other interpretations to hold up in court despite timm's personal reading of the man.

it is, still, one of the predominant "intended" readings of the character as imagined by timm for BTAS, so it's not surprising to see him keep to the characterization he prefers here.

yeah. and that take did carry on into Batman Beyond and was confirmed, but given that future/timeline made sense there.
