yeah it's made me slow down a lot on using social media a lot.

part of The Algorithm right now is that platforms are boosting reels/shortform vid and suppressing other things intentionally, it's very calculated which is so frustrating

because yes it's just. so much thought and energy for such a crapshoot of success that has nothing to do with the actual substance of your content

What Is The Point, but also, if you DONT do it where does that leave you

i gave up, if my circle likes my art and that causes it to grow then so be it

i am in too much pain to try to keep up and im not enjoying myself

it's also fucking with people's self esteems to not get attention like. it's grim

I'm really hoping Cara takes off, if for no other reason than having a community network focused on art and artist needs would be really nice right now
