xyph : If only Nocturne S1 had the same budget as the first one. Dammit my eyes are sore with the bad animation. The only saving grace was the world building and plot at least.

Nocturne already falls short in the setting (Vampires are everywhere?) , lore (which they already thoroughly violated since the first) and plot (too many dumb moments) too imo not to mention they went hard with the racing bending (Annette and Olrox). It makes the first Netflix Castlevania look better.

Yeah Juste went full Sequel-Trilogy-Luke-Skywalker there (replace green milk with booze). I thought that vampire (whatever his name) killed those two and he went downward spiral.

And what the heck were the Belmonts and other vampire hunters doing all those years? The vampires basically took over society.

It's already confirmed that there are vampires everywhere since the first one, considering there's a Japanese, and Scandinavian Vampire ) Netflix failed to elaborate how the Belmon screwed up for the past centuries.

Yeah the problems of the world setting that it's rooted back to the first one. Suddenly vampires, who are supposed to be naturally secretive, are all seen to the public. Fast forward to Nocturne, they seem to have taken over a lot of establishments especially the slave trading
