Naturally the Butcher is going to want to take advantage of the system once he gets over the annoyance of it, and see how many different types of weapons he can produce.
His typical stuff will probably be things like snakes, spiders, knifes, scalpels, small nooses... (do ask), hammers, nails, small lengths of metal wire, etc. These can be pleasant or upset meanings because they're things he likes because he enjoys torture. So it's a toss-up whether he's happy or angry with some of these things.
I'm still trying to think up more pleasant aimed things for rare instances when he's purposefully nice... maybe flowers, little singing birds, stuffed puppies and wolves...?? lmao. things that he will be embarrassed and confused about.
Musical notes!!! lmao. I guess they could turn into little wooden carvings once they stop floating in the air or something? How fanciful should I get...?
If you see musical notes its just the Butcher passing by... the idea of them coming out in the exact rhythm that he's singing amuses me. Literally just a bar of notes following along with his song. :3
I think if he was talking to Sweeney happily they'd end up with Irish whiskey to add to the stock. XD Because he associates Sweeney with the Speakeasy and Irish whiskey is the best ofc.
I would love him to have an excuse to say one of his silly sayings... the "building castles in the sky" one brings up a lovely little imagery. haha. I don't foresee any of them coming out, but I'll keep an eye on some and see.
I think Collins could be persuaded to take care of a dog after the circus breach but I also think it would have to come from someone intently convincing him or forcing him into it.
Oh, I have no qualm with animal death, especially if it's not a pet (and if he killed it it would be during the flood after it manifested and made itself comfortable in his room so it would be a wild animal not a pet at the time).
Quick question: are you interested in Collins getting a magic item that makes/lets him feel Sweeney's emotions? No is totally ok, I'm just brainstorming what his words will make.
Having Collins touch the item before he realizes it's magical and he feels that would definitely have less fall out than just a magical item being offered to him. If that makes any sense.
As for the shape and effect, I'm flexible as to what it would look like or do. Sweeney's just making magic with varying levels of actual intention, but this maybe more accidental, just because he has such complicated feelings about Collins
I think it would be neat if it mimicked or at least felt like their mental connection during that breach and gave Collins more insight into emotions. I'm down for it working both ways or if it's some sort of paired thing that they each have one of for it to be full connection.
I'm cool with it going both ways, because Sweeney really does long for connection (even if he tries not to). Not to the point of telepathy, in specific, but yeah
Yeah! I was thinking it feels like their bond in the breach.. I think they vaguely picked up on emotions but I'm less certain how much detail we went into it or how much was just obvious body posture.
I don't foresee any of them coming out, but I'll keep an eye on some and see.
i have the dumbest idea to give Butcher a pet, help. get the thought out of my mind.Yeah, it sucks thinking "oh this would be cute and/or funny but would the character do this or actually that instead"
even though he still thinks fondly of his wolves.small wooden orb with wolf brothers carved around its circumference ;a;
