Made two new minigame task things, one involved holding a button so I had to rework inputs a little. They are missing lots of icons and such but are playable.

Made the UI require less clicks, feels better now. Also some added visuals for the resource mechanic. Got some content ideas written down as well to implement later.

Tried to do more music today but it just isn't clicking. I gotta figure out how to get the vibe I want before I start using cool tricks and shit, I really need to listen to music and steal honestly but I can't even figure out where to start.

Messed around in FL Studio today, bit of progress on that front but not too much. I'm not very music brained in general. Mostly hanging out with my parents today.

Boxing today, learned that even a small juice box of sugar really revives me half way through. No dev and the plan for content stays, though I am tempted to boot up FLStudio again and try making some songs for it.

Really minor UI work today, neck pain and lots of sleeping today. Looking at some random youtube videos about music production, trying to find good examples to steal from for later. Drive for UI prettiness is dying a bit so I will go back to getting some content done.

Did some small UI animations, mostly figuring out how to trick Godot into doing what I want. More of the same tomorrow most likely.

Boxing today, no dev. Plan is basically the same. Work tasks basically all got resolved today which is nice, gonna have more brain power to use on dev.

Payout for orders completed is more thought out now, current implementation only really supports the doubling but is set up for expansion. The crystal recipe also looks nicer in general now. I really need to add animations to basically every UI element so you can tell when things are changing more easily.

Updated the crystal ball to a slightly different idea, and reused the old idea for another item. Also slight rework of how recipes are selected so we can have recipes that don't cause new orders. Next I want to set up more interesting money interactions, so tips are a thing, and some recipes can affect how much you make off other recipes.

Did more visual work, changed how the upgrade shop works slightly to show item descriptions, fixed some small bugs. Decent progress today I think. Still need to work on a main menu, and more content like tasks and chores.

Rough day at work and a headache. No dev done but my vgen commission was accepted. Next task is either to make nicer visuals for the page where you select recipes for the day, or a main menu.

Made some background visuals and a few UI upgrades today, already feeling much nicer even if the backgrounds aren't actually good. Its all edited photos, and I have no sense of design.

Finished up some of the more stressful work, and caught up to Zatch Bell 2. Should do some dev tomorrow, not sure what specifically but probably something visual.

Recipes are now buyable and selectable and all that jazz. Part of how the prep stations work with resources is now overcomplicated because I had a different idea for a mechanic that I won't go with now. Not sure if it's worth a rework though, probably not.

Got a shop working, and made prep stations and customer slots upgradeable. Mechanically this is more or less a complete skeleton. Now it's mostly a matter of coming up with content.

Let the game conclude and be restarted properly, and added a time display. I need to think through what I want to do mechanically, because I don't want to steal some of the metagame elements of Cook Serve Delicious, I generally want a lighter metagame.I should make a shop, with the game's end goal being to buy some final very expensive item.

Got recipe selection into actual game working, but now the lack of vision is hitting and I'm not sure how to progress with this. Some ideas for polish and minor stuff, but not sure how to get it closer to a playable game.I guess its a simple thing so there isn't much, maybe set up the single day time length so you can finish a day.

Got some light UI work done, planning ahead still isn't going well since I have no vision for this shop project but I'll figure it out in time I'm sure. Also won a lot of chess games today.

Once again nothing today, outside of some brainstorming. Work is pretty rough recently so I'm not too bummed about getting nothing done, but 4 day weekend coming up might get me back in the groove.

Boxing today, and real work. Played osme yugioh. Not even half a thought of dev crossed my mind. My chess rating is going back up though so I think my brain is recovering from being dumbb.
