I got a shock this morning. An old Controller returned. HQ hired him. He was supposed to arrive next Monday. Nobody told me about his hiring. Wowza. Still shocked.

Gosh. It seems to be spam time on Telegram for me. I blocked 3 so far. Bleh.

I'm glad I have a few days off. I'm just staying home and getting a break from work.

Still felt cold, with some rain this morning. Yesterday wasn't a good day for running. Every Spring one of the local businesses has a road race. There was slush on the road. Bummer.

We had a mix of rain and sleet, some snow. There's a light dusting of snow on roofs, surfaces and the ground. Spring over here is unpredictable.

It was a sad Friday for me. Life goes on. Memories remain. Time doesn't stand still. I suspect that 2 other people will quit in the future, if not more.

One more day this week and then the office is much quieter. I will use Bluetooth earbuds while I'm in office. It won't seem so bad. Music helps.

Temperatures have dropped a bit. It feels like autumn. Spring in New England is strange.

One guy quit this week. He was with the company over 15 years. I'm in shock. I wish him the best.

I added Spanish to my phone's internal keyboard. I want to improve my language skills.

It will rain for a few days. The area is still in a moderate drought.

So I got an email from an old staffing agency director. I had thought I was blacklisted for telling him and his staff to be more considerate of job searching candidates. Nope, I'm off the blacklist. The email is still a bit insensitive. I will ignore. He's not worth it.

It has been another busy week. I often feel like I didn't get much done. It's an illusion, right?

I'm exhausted. Last night I felt a little sick. I did less at work today. I will be better tomorrow.

It's Sunday. I finished checking one month of card transactions. I started on the previous month. I should have a big chunk done before my Tuesday meeting.

We got sleet and light snow.

Now it's Friday! I'm home. But I brought work stuff home. I'll be going through spreadsheets.

Have we vastly underestimated the total number of pe...Interesting.

I'm tired. It's not Friday yet.

We had a wintry mix yesterday. That was a shocker. Brrrr. Was just rain and sleet.

I had ice cream this afternoon! Pistachio. It's always one of my favorites.

I bought a few items off Temu. I'm liking the low prices. Yay!
