Netflix dropped a bunch of numbers relating to viewership.

Surprisingly, Hajime no Ippo's doing pretty good, especially for a series that Netflix isn't airing in the US. It beat out Jojo, on a per-hour basis.

Not bad for a 20+ year old anime that gets no promotion from a broader world and whose manga only just a few weeks ago started getting an official English translation.

there's been a lot of new interest in the series. The numbers on wikipedia exploded.

I'm a bit surprised that Harry Potter was so big for Netflix in Japan.

But given the nature of things like Frieren, Oshi no Ko, and JJK, it'll probably be swept off eventually.

ultimately the lists don't mean much to us, but it's neat to look at
