I used two eggs to mix the other ingredients and whisk them up well, Then added the two others while the rest was already in the pan.

The best of both. I am jealous of your truffles! Too much for me to have outside restaurants before. It'd be quite nice to cook with them someday

the other ingredients were a teaspoon of chopped ginger and a few teaspoons of chopped onion and a little bit of chopsoy leaves for color.

Truffles are rather expensive so I used to be very frugal wit them. but that results in just a hint of truffle in the dish, more like you taste it cause you know it's in.

Now I use it more generously to make sure I do get the full aroma and taste. But I only do it once or twice a year.

Black truffles shaved on a pasta dish years ago stays with me still, they're unlike anything else. None of the truffle flavored things taste like that at all, I think they're usually synthetic or based on the white truffle
