So if I get a Laptop for you, would you pick it up there? If so, you need to send me you email and some phone number privately, and I would then send you a purchase number, you'd need to show the number and your ID to get the laptop.

I've told my email many times on here. I was one of the furst domestic consumers on both Compuserve and AOL. All I wanted was email - though I knew no one else. Didn't understand the "information super highway" that folks were touting. AOL screen "We are about to connect you to the nearest node. You will be required to enter your chosen screenname". Whut?
I had my dial up modem plugged in. Pressed "Connect" and heard the tones of the modem squealing down the phone line. My screen name became squeakmail It still is, but now at Gmail, not AOL.
Are we back again?
