Jedao is enough of a crazy spy who's obsessed with Eiffel that I think it's safe to assume he's included anyone who would like to be included
the chip being taken out and then reappearing is going to fuck her right the hell up because that's exactly what happened to her during her fucky canon simulations, so lmao
yeah that's why I'd want to know. B is not responding to this, because guess who else has this kinda trauma trigger, but if he knows he's gonna go track down Shaw
neal: definitely thought his network-prompted meltdown was his breaking point neal: did not consider This as a potential scenario that would ever conceivably happen
... shit, if Jedao is telling Hakkai where they are and then telling Neal, Hakkai is almost certainly going to be on the spot when Neal shows up with a gun
I MEAN, a) not necessarily a bad thing since his Original Deterrent in Shaw is taking herself to chill in the nets and b) the gun doesn't kill people it just knocks them out not that anyone would know that looking at it
although Hakkai is also having an enormous emotional crisis about the situation so his ability to mediate like a rational person is strongly predicated on how far he can keep repressing before he cracks
so he'd probably not realize it was magic and let it happen, but it would be extremely funny if neal got there, like, 30 seconds before Hakkai but then. because Jedao has deactivated all the door access permisions, neal just. can't get out of the room. and hakkai can't get in
It would be fun for me but Hakkai will lose his shit and try a real murder attempt with no communication if he's too late, I'm afraid! He's already at a very high stress level and The Wrong Side Of A Locked Door is his particular trauma trigger
okay so, when Hakkai gets to the door, he'll discover it doesn't open automatically for him like it usually does, but if he yells or knocks once or anything Jedao will give a specific command to open for him this particular time

I think that's probably the lowest casualty option (unless Shaw and Malcolm are going to intercept him on the way, which would also totally work!)
anyway Jae, would you rather he be diverted on the way or disarmed once he gets there, or stuck at the door? we're happy to do any but also happy to yield to any interventionist who wants dibs for CR
that works! Hakkai would focus on trying to discourage him verbally first as long as he's in the room when Neal gets there (and be relieved to have shaw's help!)
like an hour or two later Jedao is like "okay fuckos who all answered privately instead of using the team slack channel for the team project, here's the plan"
Hakkai will not dodge if Neal fires at him and will actively throw himself in the way if he sees Neal's arm move, so he's probably going to take the unconsciousness-bullet either way -- I'm good with Jedao either trying to nudge it or not being able to respond quite in time!
I love having the chance to write Neal being a stone cold motherfucker. The sadistic streak that would make him a terrifying villain is absolutely there.
a bunch of folks converge on Jedao's room in the first 30 seconds-5 minutes - is it cool with you if we say Iris got out of the shower and saw the post like. ten minutes in

I think now's as good a time as any for Shaw to come knocking while Neal goggles at Jedao's nonsense, unless you want to get in one more reaction tag, Jae?
o7 that works! she gets there late, patrols for people who might cause trouble, not realizing that the guy who wanted to cause trouble bet her there and is already inside

: he was already close to unhinged and then Jedao popped on the network saying "by the way I decided on my own to mess with the thing in Eiffel's neck and killed him this is not his day to day!!
Jedao straight up said to Arthur's face, hey, I loved Nathaniel like a little brother and he came into my home and poisoned the love of my life and left his body for me to find. the fact that I'm hurt is my fault for being stupid enough to love him
jedao blames him for things that happened while he was unconscious, on account of he was shot several times in the head to prevent him from stopping the thing from happening
Hakkai isn't going to hate Neal, because he does actually understand "I snapped and went way too far in my violent response," but he is going to want to have a mean conversation with him about hurting Jedao
(also honestly if Hakkai were entirely reasonable about this he wouldn't be mean to Neal, but he's. also having an emotional crisis and that makes his irrationally spiteful streak come out something awful. which is what happened with Nathaniel too...)
unfortunately i am delighted by it, conceptuallyneal: did not consider This as a potential scenario that would ever conceivably happen
