I feel like the cats feel about teh same way we do about the fireworks: the constant booming and popping is kind of annoying, but not scary

I just can't imagine either spending that much or wanting to spend hours and hours setting off fireworks. but OTOH, I appreciate the free show

it's not as coordinated as a pro display, but I also don't feel any need to go to a crowded public display somewhere for July 4 or NYE
