[writing] i'm really happy i got babygirls fic out right under the wire. i'm laughing at how i acquired a new fandom all of two weeks before the end of 2023, but i'm glad i was able to actually make something for it too. my year in fandom was pretty thoroughly represented by the ficwriting i did during it, so i'm proud ✨

in 2024 i want to write and publish more shortform fic; i realize looking back that i've been in longform brain for so long to the point that it was (almost) burning me out. i'm already wrestling with longform writing by day, i don't need my hannah montana life to be just as stressful! i can write short fics that are fun!
