i remember as a kid, i lived on a little dead end suburban ghetto street. and once in a great blue moon, a paletero cart would ring and go by and i'd break out in a fucking sprint to get a single quarter from grandma and then chase that cart down.
but one of my first long trips to LA, i was in town with a friend, and saw a cart and was like dude, let's get some. i expected to pay 5 bucks and 100% was willing to do so? we paid one single dollar and each got one.
i even managed to get my local market when i first moved upo here to stock them. just strawberry, but that was enough? they sell the 6 bar boxes for 8 bucks, but everything here costs more then other places.
now they have like 4 flavors come in and are like 8.99 a box. i'm so mad they raised the prices so fucking much. but it's better then the prices of the other fruit bars. WHICH ARE AMAZING but i dotn wanna pay 12 bucks here for 6 bars when you can go to walmart and get them for half that too
I've been living on Ramen for a few weeks now and shouldn't have got food yesterday. but I got bananas and these pops and a jar of cheap Alfredo for pasta to change shit up a bit.
Fuck me these are actually very good.
