It was the show that has caused me to lose all faith in watching TV show in real time. First Lost, then How I Met Your Mother, then Game of Thrones was the nail in the coffin. I put YEARS OF MY LIFE into those shows. I defended their weak points from people. I eagerly looked forward to how they would turn out?

....And how did they turn out? A BIG WET FART OF AN ENDING!

EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.

From now on I'm watching shows that have concluded only, so I don't invest a decade of time and then get kicked in the butt in the end.

People have been saying "Oh, House of Dragons is actually really good, you don't have to worry about it turning out bad." To which I say, yeah? They said the same thing about the first four seasons of GOT. I'll believe it when I see it.
