ain't no way AI has even taken over parts of the lego community bruh
AngryCerealMilk
like ain't no way I'm seeing fully generated landscapes next to actual architectural masterpieces crafted with love and care on pinterest right now and people are actually fucking falling for it uuuughhhh
gert
tbf i fell for smth like this and i was literally gonna send it to you and look into buying it because the concept looked so pretty (i think it was mushrooms but it's been a while now so i don't remember). i don't think the problem is people falling or not falling for it, it's the AI generation itself
AngryCerealMilk
gert : yeah I saw the mushrooms myself actually, but yes the ai itself is a massive fucking problem
gert
AngryCerealMilk : it is, i just don't think blaming the people falling for it is the right approach jsksjs
AngryCerealMilk
gert : I don't mean to, it wasn't really what I was frustrated about anyway, sorry if it came across that way. My main gripe is the existence of the images in the first place and especially how they're featured next to sets that had a lot of care and attention put into them
gert
AngryCerealMilk : yes i understand. AI art is no art at all
AngryCerealMilk
gert : absolutely it isn't, yep
AngryCerealMilk
gert : but, that being said, I recommend looking up the actual sets bc some of them are just breathtakingly beautiful and amazing to look at. there's sharks too and a lot of marine life sets
